2 star but great location
Very nice staff & good location but definitely 2 star loud in hallways & from street, no toiletries, old flooring, paper thin little towels, no coffee or tea but plenty places to go to great location & helpful staff

Such an interesting place! I was prepared for the worst based on other reviews, but I found the facilities to be clean but severely dated. My room had windows opening into the hall and I could hear everything- the guy 2 floors away coughing all night… I also had to deal with the automatic hall lights going on and off all night. That became a problem for sleep. I felt the hotel to be safe, even if you had to take a side street then turn into an alley at the strip club (I imagine some folks would be put off by this).

A tale of two stays
Interesting stay... Apart from great location and cheap, not great first day. Family trip with my 18 year old who did not want to share a bed, but thats what we got on arrival. One sigle queen-size bed with the hardest mattress known to man. But when I showed our booking of a room with 3 queen-sized bed to the receptionist, he promised us a better room the next day, which we did get - with 2 separate beds. And the mattresses were comfortable.

Really good centralised location. The hotel itself was a bit tired and could do with being decorated but the rooms were clean and a good size and the young lad on reception was very polite when checking us in. Would stay again even just for the excellent location.

The hotel is quite noisy. The floor needs to be repaired. The bathroom and shower also need to be fixed. Poor condition both bathroom and bedroom.

Cheap and cheerful
The hotel was well situated but basic. Staff friendly but breakfast was overpriced for what it was. For a short stay the hotel served its purpose. Worked within our budget. Easy access to metro and teams within five minutes walk

2/10 Poor

Hotel location is good. terrible staff, hotel room was stinky. There must be a sewrage back up resulting mold growth like smell. Informed the staff, they just ignored. Couldn't sleep all night. TV was not working too, staff just said sorry. Be very careful, inspect your room prior to check in.

Best location but condition could be better
the hotel has a perfect location, almost every attraction is walking distance. The room was clean, no stains, no smell, running hot water (after a few minutes) bed comfy except the pillows, overall the building is a bit old and the view is not that nice because the hotel is located in a small alley. Worst thing: the spiral staircase and the window in our room was barred with wood (but could be still open a bit).
