When looking at the pictures of the pioneer motel it shows pictures of log cabins with beautiful views but instead you get crammed between gas stations and a heavily traveled street. First room they picked for us had a musty smell (it was a self check in). When I was able to get service they offered me a free upgrade to a larger room, we had just travelled 17 hours and were willing to accept anything at that time. After staying the 4 nights I was billed for, we checked out.

Don’t stay here
Wasn’t as nice as it appeared in the picture. No air conditioning. Was informed after 2 days with no room service that we had to “sign up for daily room service when we booked the room”. Never heard of that before especially when booking a room for 5 days. We took the dirty towels to the office ourselves so they wouldn’t mildew (as well as the trash) and had them give us clean ones. It was also loud at night as it is in the middle of town.

Good location and very spacious room with kitchenette. Check-in was super easy with a key pad. They even had some free snacks in the office. Room was clean, wi-fi was good and the rooms had good darkening shades. We appreciated being able to pull up right to the door of the motel.

No Air Conditioning. Screened window with a box fan was the only way to cool down the room. Unfortunately, all the rooms are on the ground level, so security was a concern. Other seasons beside summer would be fine.
