The guest parking was a problem. The parking areas under the units was designed for two cars but in our case all but one only held one car parked in the middle of the two spot parking. Given the Lodge part is next to a bar and dinning any spare parking was quickly filled up. We had a real problem finding car park.

Right in the centre of town and easy walking to all restaurants and shopping in Warkworth. Friendly welcome - although was very busy in the restaurant at dinner time when I checked in. Comfortable and quiet enough - parking a little scarce and very narrow parks but right there. Definitely worth the stop on a business trip.

Customer service a definite 5/5! The manager was very welcoming and always provided service with a smile :) check in and out was easy and having somewhere to dine nearby was very convenient. However, I felt the bathroom could've done with a really good scrub in all areas. The pot plants and Nikau palms could also do with some attention. I've never been to Warkworth before so the location was so handy to the shopping centre which is great. Thanks team

Exterior sign to reception led to a darkish bar where unattended reception was "hidden" around a corner. Once staff member free from bar duties check-in all OK. Building's conversion from earlier purpose (?) resulted in very compact odd-shaped accommodation with nook under upstairs landing! However, very clean with all needed facilities and a great range of food and drink options at in-house restaurant alongside river. Good undercover parking for house guests.

6/10 Good

Disappointing stay, in all honesty.
No bell etc at reception so I had to get one of the bartenders for help - he was lovely, but the fact that I had to go find someone was an odd start. The room was pretty sad. Weird layout, no aircon (only a couple of fans which didn't do much), wine fridge with no proper shelves which didn't seal properly, and mattress was super hard. Paint chipped on walls everywhere and just didn't feel entirely clean. A lot of road noise, windows were a struggle to close properly to keep some of it out. Bathroom had a moldy ceiling, the shower door didn't close all the way, and the shower head was so grotty that I wasn't comfortable using the shower in the end. Decent amount of free parking available, but it's first-in-first-served with only a couple of spots reserved for guests (which were always full while I was there), so I imagine on weekends etc it gets difficult. I managed to find a space each day for my short stay (mid-week) but it was generally the last space left. There are no do-not-disturb signs and no deadbolts on the doors, so I was woken from my attempted sleep-in by housekeeping trying to walk in. My bag was against the door which stopped them coming in, but they proceeded to call out "housekeeping" and try to slam the door open, twice, even as I called out to them. All in all pretty disappointing, wouldn't stay again unless it was a very cheap price and I needed to save money

We did enjoy the young lady who checked us in and later helped us find a table in the full, noisy dining room. Food was good. Did not like all the stairs and tiny room. Unable to bring our suitcases up the narrow stairs so left them in the car and just took up what we needed for the night in a shopping bag. With the angle of the roof over the bed hitting our heads was an issue. Shower did not drain well and quickly threatened to overflow the shower basin.

It was clean, quiet and the staff friendly. The rooms are old but cute. However the shower was slow to drain and the sink stopper did not work.
