Even though the hotel is undergoing a huge remodel, my room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the staff kind and helpful. Currently there is no on site restaurant so they have some food in the reception area in a cold refrigerator. It looks like they’ve made breakfast arrangements with a nearby restaurant. It is about a 3-5 minute walk and I cannot speak to the food there. I walked to the V & A waterfront for my meals as there are likely over a hundred choices. The location seems quite safe and it takes about 12-18 minutes to walk to the V & A wharf where you can eat, shop and launch for various boat excursions like Roben Island. I would stay here again and look forward to seeing the completed restaurant, pool and gym.
