I was offered a room upgrade for the second night, but I had only booked the second night because I had an evening flight, so I did utilize the upgrade.

Rooms old fashioned and a little damp feeling (in the rainy season) and some noise issues, but mostly a tranquil shelter in a lively and potentially chaotic-feeling city. The Lobelia was a great choice. They provided breakfast every day, picked me up from the airport, and took me back. It is close to the airport and has everything you need nearby. Shops, restaurants, and transportation are all within walking distance. My room was very large with good Wi-Fi. I would return again if I travel to Addis Ababa. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Wonderful hidden Gem
