Good, simple accommodation with family options. The location is not the best being somewhat removed from the heart of Hamburg, but public transportation is pretty accessible. Being next to rail lines means there is some noise all night long, but it was not too obtrusive. Some great amenities like free laundry and fresh bread.

Super is about right
This place is a hotel/hostel and I stayed in a private room. Arrived close to midnight after a train delay, but the 24 hour bar/desk staff were very welcoming. Very laid-back approach, breakfast on an honesty system. Room was spacious, comfortable, spotless and the shower was excellent. Would definitely consider staying here again, and for longer! Beds were comfy too.

Uncomfortable and noisy
I would not recommend this place in the summer, or even moderately warn weather. Stayed with my family in a hotel room for 4. The rooms were unbearably hot with us all in there since they don't have any form of air conditioning except a table fan. Opening the windows didn't help as they traffic noise was terrible and only paused between 2->5am. Worse few nights sleep I have paid for in a long time. Apart from that, staff were helpful and place was clean.
