アーユルヴェーダ医学を観光客向けとはいえ、長い歴史の中で、ちゃんと継承している場所です。しっかりした食事とヨーガと医師、セラピストの治療を受けることができます。最初のシロダーラなどは本当にからだが心地よくだるーくなるので、ちゃんとした治療には、最低二週間かかるというのも納得です。 ビジターはドイツ、スイス、日本人が多い。食事はビュッフェスタイルでとても美味しいですが、二週間の間すこし飽きることまもありました。 部屋や施設は特別きれいではないけど、全体としては、とても満足です。 バカンスというよりは、療養という意識で行くのに向いています。2,3日の人も多いけど、雰囲気程度しか分からないかも。 プールも広くて気持ちいいし、ハタヨガの先生も、セラピストもとても良かったです。またいつか行きたい。

敷地内には、モンキー、リス、猫、ダック、色とりどりの鳥、蝶、 オオトカゲが人間と共生しており、サルはバルコニーまで遊びに来ます。動物と共生していることを味わえるホテル。 部屋は若干古く、埃の被ったところもありました。シャワーの出は良くなかったです。しかし、アーユルベーダを本格的に受けたい方には満足できるでしょう。ドクターの数が多く、毎日コンサルがあります。施術の種類も多く、雰囲気も抜群です。レストランには、アーユルベーダで一番大事なランチだけドクターが立っていて、体質別に食べてはいけないものを教えてくれます。トラブルにも親身になって対応してくださり、レセプションを含めスタッフ全員が驚くほど優しい。 製薬会社の老舗とあって、バーブの薬がとても良く効きました。 ただ、日本人率は高い気がしました。

Nice place but caution for rip-off
I really liked staying here especially the food. There's a nice jacuzzi in the swimming pool, which was very relaxing while looking at the wild monkeys jumping around in the trees. Also, yoga classes were offered both in the morning and evening almost every day, so I've never got bored without going out anywhere. One of the bad things about this place was I was overcharged at the souvenir shop right across the reception. I just bought a medicine that subscribed from the house doctor, but the shop assistant guy charged me 5 times more than it supposed to be. I had the credit card company to get the refund, but he submitted the false documents which stated things I've never bought. So if you hate fraud, be careful!

自然の中でアーユルヴェーダ体験！
近代的な建物ではありませんが、清潔でした。広い敷地内にはサルやリスなどがいて自然が一杯です。 アーユルヴェーダはまぁまぁでした。オイルを使用したヘッドマッサージは部屋に戻って5回位シャンプーしないとオイルが落ちません。。顔の泥パック？も綺麗に落とさないとハンカチが黄色くなります。。 室内スリッパとティッシュはありません。 ゴム草履は必須です。 お食事はとても美味しかったです。毎日ブュッフェで、パン、サラダ、カレー、フルーツ、デザートがふんだんに出されてます。 内容も変わるので飽きないですよ。 日本人客は3割位です。 ホテル内の宝石店は安くて素敵です。 オイルはハーブティーも安いです。 一度体験してみてください。

Room for improvement
Service was very lacking, be it at front office or at restaurant. Quality and choice of food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) may be improved greatly!!!!! The many number of Staffs working at the beach restaurant more attentive - many stray cats around during meal time....which were a little "disruptive".... The only retail shop in the hotel needs A major clean-up! Dusty and filthy - uninviting to purchase anything :-(( Wished the manager/staffs working were more professional, welcoming and hospitable in providing a SERVICE.

アーユルヴェーダを目的で行きましたが、リラックスを追求してるホテルだと思います。健康志向の食事。ビーチ直結で波の音を聞きながらの食事。アットホームな雰囲気からか、何かホッとするホテルでした。ゆっくり連泊すれば良かったと思います。スタッフもみんな感じが良くて、とても気に入りました。老舗のシッダレパは流石だと思いました。また行きたいと思います。ショップの品揃えもとても良かったです。

Dont expect luxury
I expected a luxury complex and was shocked to find an old tired looking place where external areas had peeling paint, large brown patches which should have been green grass - not the green oasis I had seen in photos. Inside the rooms had been renovated a few years ago but my ceiling fan wobbled and was too noisy to use at night and the aircon wasnt very cool. The waves are so strong I felt like I had been hit by a car and the undertow makes swimming dangerous. The food was good but not much variety from day to day. Dont stay here if you are after a hotel. Its better suited to people wanting ayurveda but thats an extra 135 USD a day for 2 hours treatment, lunch and medicine (which is very cheap to buy).

アーユルヴェーダを本格的に体験し、日頃のストレスや体調を整えたい方には、ぜひお勧め。 厳格なアーユルヴェーダの食事とウエスタンの食事、アルコールもあるので、カップルで行ってもお互い楽しめる。 渋滞によっては、空港から2時間と少し遠いが、ビーチが目の前に広がり、喧騒から外れリラックスした時間を楽しめ、夜には満天の星空が楽しめる。 自社で製造しているアーユルヴェーダの調合薬も売店で購入可能。 スリランカの観光を楽しみたい人にはどこも少し遠いが、ぜひこのリラックスした環境で本格的なアーユルヴェーダを楽しんでもらいたい。

A relaxing getaway.
I had a really relaxing week here and was very impressed by the staff & their wonderful hospitality. I wanted a mix of treatments & exploring Sri Lanka & was able to do that here. Although I was travelling on my own I got to know other guests quickly & everyone was so warm & welcoming. My only slight fault about the hotel was that it is quite out of the way & you need a taxi to get anywhere but that's easy to sort out. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

A True Ayurveda Spa
If you are looking for a true Ayurveda experience this is probably the right place for you, but if you are looking for Ayurveda services within a western style hotel this is not the right place. The location of the hotel is very remote, you cannot walk to any shops, restaurants or sights and the hotel taxi service is very expensive. The buffet meals in the main restaurant are not up to western standards, while it may not be a total surprise to find that the meat and fish dishes were badly cooked, I was surprised to find a lack of a good curry. Once again the buffet focused on the Ayurveda menu. Our disappointment was from the fact the hotel's website does identify itself as an Ayurveda spa, but it claims to have a western menu and to be close to amenities. Also it stated that Wi-Fi is available for a charge, but does not mention that you cannot get it in the rooms, and that it has a gym, which is actually a very small room with four cardio machines. As I said if you want a remote, peaceful spa experience it is probably a good place to go.

Hôtel placé entre la Mer et Chemin de Fer = Nul
Hôtel placé entre la Mer et le Chemin de Fer = Affreux. Surtout ne pas prendre des chambres à bas Prix= Souvent placé au bord du chemin de Fer, le train commence sa course à 6 H du Mat. Je recommande de prendre une chambre avec un Balcon, pour 9 Euros en Plus. Dés votre arrivée, on vous demande de prendre un Médecin = + 95 Euros = Quel Accueil ...Alors attention de ne pas tomber ds le Piège, si on y va en temps que Touriste. Je ne parle pas au nom des Personnes Malades. Pour la Plage, ni pensait pas...= impossible = pas de plage, c'est sale et Mer déchaînait même pour le meilleur Nageur. Bon, il y a une Belle Piscine... Maintenant, parlons du Restaurant = Pire qu'une Paillote = pas propre et pleins de Chats errants qui miaulent et sautent sur Vous...parfois ne se gêne pas pour se servir. Nourriture, toujours la même chose, pas de Choix. Bon le personnel est sympha.... Autrement, l'hôtel est entouré d'un beau Parc et bien sécurisé, de ce côté c'est sécurisant et apaisant. Le Problème, L'hôtel est isolé, il n'y a pas de commerce autour, il faut faire 7 kms en Tuk Tuk =+ ou - 1000 Roupie = environ 7 Euros, pour trouver une Banque et des Commerces à Kalutara.

W hotelu dzien rozpoczynalam od zajec yogi. Wiele prostych, ale jakze dobrych dla zdrowia cwiczen. Instruktor byl super. Zalowalam, ze tylko godzina dziennie. Uwazam, ze w ayuverdyjskim hotelu powinno byc wiecej zajec yogi w cenie pobytu. Przydalaby sie tez codzienna medytacja. Za to kuchnia wspaniala. Restauracja polozona tuz przy plazy, otwarta. Jedzac mozna bylo podziwiac ocean i sluchac jego szumu, za wyjatkiem niektorych kolacji gdy przybywali muzykanci. Jadlam tylko z kacika ayurvedyjskiego, bezmiesne potrawy, prawie to samo codziennie i nigdy nie bylam glodna ani znudzona tym co jem. Dosc denerwujacy byl internet, za ktory trzeba bylo placic od godziny, moze niewiele bo 2 usd, ale polaczenie czesto sie rwalo i bylo dostepne tylko w recepcji. Tam tez atakowaly komary. Hotel na sporym terenie w ogrodzie nad samym oceanem. Male budynki,Bardzo interesujacy wystroj pokoi i fajne lazienki z kamieniami. . Byly wystarczajaco czyste i wygodne. Niestety nie bylo moskitiery. Nie bylo tez pasty i szczoteczki do zebow, ani pantofli ani szlafroka. Na terenie obiektu byla biblioteka, ale niestety nie bylo ksiazek o ayurvedzie. Lekarki nie byly dostepne dla gosci, ktorzy nie wykupili pakietu leczniczego. Szkoda, bo liczylam, ze lykne troche wiedzy.

Very quite hotel,if you prefer next to beach.
The most quietest hotel we ever visited. On this score it was just heaven. Only saw three children here. Some times pool to ourselves .beach was great but you do get pestered by locals sometime. Food was ok but could do with more local variety. The only two really complaints are 1) need a bar at the pool side and 2) need cooling fans in the lounge and bar area. Staff were just fantastic and very helpful. Transport is available by the hotel but very expensive . If you need to travel locally get a toock toock right out side the hotel but hackle on the price. We did not go there for the Ayruvedic treatment as this is what the hotel specialises in and so if this is what you intend go for it although very expensive. We wanted a quite holiday and that's exactly what we got. Very pleased with the outcome.

Ett avslappende opphold
Har vært her en uke i februar. Hyggelige og hjelpsomme.Har lest noen anmeldelser om dårlig vaskede rom osv.Kan ikke se dette i det hele tatt. Flott strand med noe bølger.Du kan vasse langt !! Kan være viktig å få med seg at dette er et helsekurs senter med en del spesial mat .Vi fulgte ikke dette og fant maten god allikevel . Regn med en kjøretur fra Colombo flyplass på ca 90 min.Kan være de minste vil finne oppholdet litt ensformig,selv om det er et fint basseng også for de minste.

I would highly recommend this spa because of the excellent customer service from the staff all around including the restaurant personnel.
