This hotel is a reasonable choice, certainly value for money. However, it is not 5 star. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the city center, with very little to see in the immediate area. The hotel is clean and well kept, although our room was not cleaned properly on our last day, when our bed was not made.
Although rooms have a mini bar and complimentary water, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is a mini safe in the room, but as it is just sitting in a cupboard and not screwed into the wall, we did not feel the safe was very safe. There is a TV in the room but no international (English speaking) channels.
We only ate breakfast at the hotel, although there is a restaurant/bar on site. On 3 of our 4 days, we had to select and order the breakfast we required the previous evening. On the 4th day, there was a buffet breakfast. Selections were adequate but not up to European standards.
Staff were generally friendly, particularly the waiter at breakfast, although not all staff had a good understanding of English.
Lviv is worth a tourist visit, particularly if you are interested in the history of the city and/or its Jewish History. However, the tourist guide obtained from the airport was basic and I would therefore recommend doing a bit of research before arriving.
Food and drink in Lviv is very cheap by European standards
Overall we had a good few days in the local area and thought the trip, including the hotel, was very good value for money.
