Sanur Bliss
We had a wonderful stay at Watujimbar, with an excellent King room with spa on the balcony, the inclusive buffet breakfast had many choices and made a great start to the day. All the staff are so friendly & a special mention to Lintang who goes out of his way to greet every person arriving or departing. The pools are brilliant & a great swim up pool bar.

Great position in the heart of Sanur, with multiple dining options in a safe, thriving shopping strip. Only a one night stay for us in transit, which met our needs. Check in wasn’t quite as seamless as expected, with initial confirmation that our room, listed as from 2pm, was told wouldn’t be ready until 3pm, however on a follow up at 2.30pm, was then ready. Room was larger than expected, with a large balcony( including a larger outside spa bath). Very comfortable bed and a very good included buffet breakfast.

I want to start by saying that the staff were friendly and helpful, trying to fix the situation. The building is starting to show its age, with little things not right. For example sink drain plug not working in two rooms. The wooden deck around the pool/bar area was unsafe with the boards moving under foot, or when a person walking past your deck lounge caused you to rise and fall as they stood on the loose deck board. My friend got a large splinter in her foot after getting out of the pool. Attention to detail, that room staff made a bed with sheets that had been washed, but were stained from prior guests! The pool lounges that sit in the shallow pool, some were shorter and as a result you were laying on them you were in the water, towel drench and constantly laying in water. The pool is their greatest asset. Again I just want to re-iterate that the staff went above and beyond.

Upon arrival they changed out check in time First room they gave us air con didn’t work and someone was hammering above us , so they moved us to another room , bathroom had no door, the shower water only came out of a few holes in the shower head and the we couldn’t shut toilet door to go to bathroom if you wanted to sit on the toilet. But staff are very friendly and pool area in nice

There were dogs barking outside our room day and night. The room itself was large enough, but the bathroom shower toilet setup was cramped by layout and internal doors. Fresh drinking water was available from hallway dispensers using a glass jug kept in room. The building is getting old. Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast had variety and kept plentiful by staff. Amenities were adequate and location is good. Wouldn’t go back.

I gave our stay 3 stars due to the pool being clean, 24 hour security, and the centralized location. I would only recommend this hotel if you booked a room with a private pool area or just need a cheaper hotel for a few nights. The continental breakfast was amazing as was their pool. We unfortunately got a jacuzzi room and I will not be doing that again. It is apparent that they do not clean them after each guest. The jacuzzi was the whole reason we booked this hotel. There were other hotels near by I wish we would have stayed at.
