Awful situation
No electricity upon arrival - was travelling with a small child and was forced to spend money on a taxi ride to a new hotel and full arrangements on the spot with another hotel. Hotels.com has done nothing to reimburse me.

I recommend!
I hired a car (entry can be a little trick if you aren't used to Brazilian roads) but they offer transfer to and from the airport, the breakfast is simple but fresh, kitchen is open 24/7 and the stuff is super friendly! The room was clean and if I had to pick on something, I would suggest the removal of calcium build up on shower head. Would definitely stay there again!

Good Hotel at a Good Value
Very good hotel in the CNF airport area. Great value without having to travel far away from the airport. Overall the staff was helpful and professional, rooms were very clean and with outfit with contemporary decor. Our room was a bit tight to move around comfortably, but was enough for our stay. The hotel offers 24hr room service along with a decent buffet breakfast and shuttle service to and from the airport.

Great stay!
The hotel was very nice and clean. The continental breakfast was also very good. The bus for the airport was not available on the weekend but the receptionist contacted a taxi to arrive in the morning to take us. Also, there is not a lot of English speaking staff. Regardless, the hospitality, the cleanliness, and the service was great!! I would stay again!

Close to airport. Clean, simple, does the job.
Great value and serves the purpose of being near the Confins airport. Otherwise, there's no reason whatsoever to be there. (Hotel is off the highway; nearly adjacent is a motel that seems to accommodate the local s-e-x economy.) Food selection is pretty sad: microwave dinners or cold sandwiches, chips, popcorn. Did not have a chance to try the breakfast. Staff was very nice, however. Rooms were basic, but clean. Only complaint would be that it's hard to contact the hotel with questions (by email). Also be warned that the airport transfer service is weekdays only.

way out in boonies
no bar/restaurant etc close by.... but just not a practical to stay if you are looking to spend time in Belo. No buses around... only choice is take hotel shuttle to airport(never on time) and take a bus... or take a R100 ride in a cab from hotel. Had to stay here only coz i had no other choice during the FIFA games. As expected, rates were 3 times normal.

Nice clean hotel
It is a nice clean Brazilian version of the Super 8 Hotels. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The continental breakfast was fresh and excellent. The adjoining rooms were very convenient. There are no restaurants or stores nearby but there are some food items for sale inside the hotel. The challenge is that the goods were greatly overpriced.

nice place, but not good for public transport
This place is super nice for a Motel 8, which are considered 2 star hotels in the US. But at least in Brazil, this noe is super nice. It was during the World Cup, so the staff was working like crazy, 16+ hour days! and did a wonderful job. (especially Sylvia) My main complaint is that the "free shuttle" bus only runs some of the time. If you take a cheap city bus, it takes about an hour to get to center. If you take a taxi, it is not much faster, even at night without traffic, YET the price is high, about R$120 (US$54). Of course, it is not the hotel's fault, just due to being close to the international airport. Overall, it is a good place if you arrive there by plane super late and just want to sleep for the night.

Nice hotel, too far from anywhere!
The hotel was comfortable and most of the staff helpful. We decided to stay here as we had an early morning flight so we knew getting to downtown BH would not be easy. Taxis from the airport to the hotel charge Rs 40 for a five minute trip. The airport is close by (5 km). Factor this in when deciding which hotel especially if you are on a budget. The hotel shuttle never turns up ! We waited 90 minutes at the airport, despite the driver telling us he would be back in 15 minutes to fetch us ! The hotel staff agreed to reimburse us but were so defensive.

Comfortable but miles from town
In the middle of nowhere! Google map locator is wrong, it's actually on the mg10 motorway near exit 29 but no access northbound. However airport bus, the 9.95 option, can be persuaded to stop on way back from central Belo. Taxi 100 reals. Only place to go is Savassi - rest of Belo a run down set of apartment high rises. Stay in Savassi if you can.

A solid, no-frills experience
A pretty nice hotel if you need to stay near Confins Airport. It's still an R30 taxi from the airport (and R90+) into town. But if that's what you're looking for it's reasonably priced and very solid. Wifi and a decent breakfast were included, staff speak basic English and the rooms are generous if not spectacular
