Clean rooms
The hotel is under renovation and I am trying to be cognizant of that. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was hard to find the signage in the front was for the restaurant so I wasn't sure that was the place to go. There was no one at the desk when I got there and one of the construction crew went to find someone after I waited for a bit. There a substantial renovations going on so it was a bit of a maze. It was another maze to find my room from the lobby but its just the layout is different. I think once reno is done it will be greatly improved. The pool area looked nice but I did not use it. But as I said the room was clean and in the end that was what really mattered to me.

Made sure the hotel knew we were traveling with a baby and lots of bag, no bag carts and they gave us a room on the second floor furthest away from the only elevator. Had to kill 4 different bugs in our room. Asked for a crib 3 times and never got a response. And cleaning came half hour before check out telling us they were ready to do our room.

The fee is reasonable but I expect full disclosure before committing to a non-refundable reservation. Surprises like this after a long day of travelling makes for an even longer day. The hotel had a great pool and indoor park for the kids. Breakfast was pretty good. The first front desk associate wasn’t the greatest. There was a way outdated fire alarm in our room probably 20-30 years old (should be replaced every 10) and there was mold in the tub and above the tub. Also what looked to be blood on the wall not from us. Other than that it was a good stay. And I would go back and stay again.

We were welcomed by the staff in the front desk. We got a room nearby the entrance as we requested. The check-in process was very efficient. The communication about the direction to our room and the breakfast time was very clear. The room is overall clean although we found some long hairs on the shower curtain. The area is very quiet. However, the options of food of the breakfast were very limited. We were told milk was running out.

Weather, Bad. Hotel, Excellent! Five Stars!
Place was well-kept. We had a "pet-friendly room" so the floors were a polished cement. Not used to that in a hotel room but it wasn't a turn-off at all. Everything was clean, TV and remote worked well. Refrigerator was clean and very cold. Pool area was clean, super spacious. Hotel bar was part of an arcade but not IN the arcade, so that was nice. Wide range of drinks available. Plenty of parking in the lot, which is accessible from the front and the back of the building from two different main streets. We had a 16' boat with us and were able to split it from our truck and had no issue with connecting/disconnecting. If you do plan on traveling here with a dog, there are plenty of grassy areas to walk them in the immediate area. No streets to cross. WiFi always worked but the speed was greatly compromised as more guests arrived.
