Caution: Depending on which building you're in, there may be a difficult steep uphill walk to the building itself, or on stairs within the building, requiring a good level of fitness and no disabilities. Advise discussing this with the property before confirming reservation.

Amazing place to stay!!
This hotel was amazing!! Staff were pleasant and helpful. Had a room with a beautiful garden view and patio. The breakfast was delicious with a different hot option each day such as omelette, sausage biscuit. Lobby had hot drinks available 24 hrs/day which the men in our group took advantage of, lol!! Bike rental thru the hotel was half the price of other vendors. Would definitely stay there again.

Great cottage room. Cute. Doesn’t have air conditioning. But in October we turned on the fans and we were comfortable. If at the heat of summer might not be. Away from the bustle but easy walk to the action of the island. Nice continental breakfast.

Beautiful property grounds. We stayed 3 nights at the Cottage House with a porch and a view of the lake. It’s definitely the room to have. The Cottage House is right beside the main house and serves a continental breakfast within its building which was something a little different each day. It was nice to set on our semi private porch while we were relaxing and people watch. The weather was perfect which was a great thing. The room we were in didn’t have AC, which wasn’t needed since it was Fall. They have bicycles for rent on site at a lower rate than the other renters. Great place to stay on the Island!!

As a place to sleep, Harbour View Inn was perfect -- my family is traveling through Michigan and the Deluxe Balcony room gave us some room to stretch, it was relatively quiet, and we all got the best night of sleep. They have a complimentary breakfast that was nice. However, my disappointment was that when you spend $500 on "the deluxe balcony" at the "Harbor View Inn," it was disappointing that the room is in the back house, and the view is of the back of the hotel. No fault of the hotel, that's what it is, and people who work there are nice. I just would've like that info when I was booking and deciding to pay extra money for what I thought was a room with a view.
