Worse place I’ve ever stayed. There is nothing around the area to do, not even a supermarket. The whole place is pretty much a construction sight. Room didn’t even have any windows and was cold, dirty and worn down.

This place is overrun with feral cats and none of the amenities actually exist. The toilet didn't even work.

If one needs to stay close to the airport at minimum cost this is the place. Only negative was the room smelled like cigarettes.

Having missed our flight home due to losing our passports, we tried to find some last minute accommodation near Catania Airport. Options were limited but this property was advertised as a bungalow with a private beach. Sounded nice for 1 night.
We were horrified when we arrived. The bungalow was just a small square building with 1 room for beds, kitchen and a table, and a separate room for WC & shower.
There was loud music blaring out from a nearby beach for most of the night plus the noise from overhead aircraft taking off (no chance of triple glazing here). In addition we found 2 cockroaches in the room. Suffice to say, we didn't get much sleep that night.
The free breakfast was also poor. It was a buffet but not much choice on offer. The coffee was cheap & nasty and the food choices were of poor quality.
I could understand if this was a budget resort, but the room cost an incredible 200 Euros (170 tax) for 1 night. To be fair, the private beach did look quite nice and I suspect this is why it was so expensive. But honestly, don't stay here if you value your sleep.

More lije a schiol retreat than a beach hotel
On the beach and near the airport with good staff. However the place is rather run down for the price and effectively without viewing windows in the rooms.

Great location by a lovely beach, a bargain, but most of all the staff members at reception and at breakfast were really friendly and welcoming.

The room was old and smelly. People were partying at the beach after midnight. I could hear the beats in the room. The worse stay in Italy.

Bugs in the sheets on the bed. Bugs in the bathroom sink. Flushing the toilet was followed by a very loud noise I think was a pump to refill toilet reservoir. Wi-Fi virtually nonexistent. Noisy beach bar. Adjacent discotheque had very loud music until 2 a.m. Very limited hotel restaurant with inexperienced staff

the property is in a very easy location to reach, staff are very friendly and helpful staff, our room was always very clean, and the beach is extremely well kept, parking was a big , overall very good value for money.
only down side was the on site restaurant, which will not deter me from staying there again as I can easily eat somewhere else.

Off season stay
We were here during the off season, it has a funky 70s beach resort vibe. We were pleased with the staff and found the room to be well worth the money in size and comfort.

Flight path
I don’t believe there is any mention of being under the flight path of Catania airport you do have to be very tired to blank the noise .2) Finding the hotel is difficult it may be 1mile??? But this is as the crow flies all the locals say it is about 5km.3) The complex of chalets is known as signed on the street as La Cucaracha. We must have wasted 25 min trying to find the place

Beach and Etna view
Far from the centre, the bus goes rarely. Cold room, few hot water, no kettle, no microwave, dirty, no heating in the bathroom. Poor breakfast, no warm food, good coffee. Nice staff. It is a paradise for summer. Good restaurant, nice wines.

Great beach, but far from the city
The beachfront room was very clean with a great view. It is a great place to stay if you want to stay on the beach, but not if you're looking to spend time in the city. We went on the off season so not much was going on and the hotel is very far from the city center. A lot was closed at the hotel so the pictures were very misleading. The wifi barely worked in our room, but was good on the beach and in the restaurant. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.
