Tamara was very accommodating! The place was very clean and the room for 4 was big .The breakfast was nice we got a grilled cheese sandwich, fruit and coffee was available all day ! The only downside is that the shower was old and water kept changing from hot to cold . If shower was remodeled I would have gave it a 10.

Elevator stops at floor1- not good for knee probs!
I booked someplace with an elevator since my Mom recently had a knee replaced. Imagine the surprise that the elevator only goes up one floor! We were able to use the elevator, but then had to walk up approximately 20stairs to finish getting up to our room! Also a bit pricy for minimal room accommodations in my opinion.

Even the front desk person during checkin seemed a little alarmed at what our room rate was. First of all, this is a Hostal, not a Hotel, take that into consideration for when you book this accommodation. The area around the hostal is not the best, but there is an excellent Paella restaurant (as recommended by the lady at reception) and a laundry place close by, very convenient, after a long stay in Spain. Natalia at reception, was extra helpful, same as the other members at reception, at different hours: Helpful and kind. The place is clean, average bathroom size for Europe. Quiet, despite all the activity outside. Thanks!

The staff at Hostal Bcn Port was amazing, everyone was so kind and welcoming. We only stayed one night but weren't checking into our next place until later in the day.
