Every year my mother, daughter and I come down there for a visit. This year will sadly probably be our last. I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open; that you had to order in the tavern. Our room was okay, but they didn't give us enough towels, washcloths nor Styrofoam cups for coffee. Overall, though we had a good time.

Harbor view was very nice, staff helpful, room comfortable. A few things needed updating ( for example the toilet seat was crooked and needed to be tightened up). Overall we would stay here again. Major reason for staying at The Fisherman Wharfs Inn was location right in the center of Boothbay and on the water. There is a lovely sitting area overlooking the bay and it was a nice place to sit and relax in the evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was somewhat rustic but very clean. I would come back here.

We booked last minute and feel we got the best room in the place! Our check in was smooth and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Our room was in a different building, which at first we were unsure of but once we got settled, realized it was perfect for us and our 4 year old. It was large, appeared to be recently renovated and had a balcony that was over the wharf. There was a DJ at a nearby restaurant that was loud at first but did not disrupt our son’s sleep as the music quieted down on the earlier side. It was fun to watch the boats come and go. We were a short walk from the footbridge and even closer to gift shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Parking was easy and there was a parking attendant available if we needed help. The only negative was that the bathroom was a little older and although it was clean, didn’t appear to be in some places. We were very happy with our stay and enjoyed our stay in Boothbay Harbor.

Wow what an incredible view of the harbor, we were basically on top of the water in room 222! It was a huge room with a great private balcony, new bathroom, new carpet, comfortable beds, blackout shades, and windows that actually open onto the ocean. For the price paid for accommodations it was exactly what I expected. With it being waterfront property, you are not going to have a five star rating. If you’ve never lived in a flood zone, you would not know what to expect and would have other expectations. For what me and my wife had planned, it was the perfect destination, easily accessible, and so many things to do around the area. It was perfect for our getaway. The staff was extremely accommodating and easy to talk to.
