Nice budget option! Good security on the dorm door! Private room was nice but slightly loud as the sound from the next door bar boom into the room! Parking on site which was convenient! 24hr reception which made it good to check in late! Pool upstairs & rooftop area was great!

I gave this place a poor rating, as I arrived there at 1 am and all I wanted after a long trip was some sleep, but there was partying noise till 6am in the morning, the shared toilets are also very dirty and men use the female toilets which is not very reassuring. The don't allow you to turn of the air conditioners which are also old and very loud, and you can hear footsteps and people talking in isle ways, they need better noise control. Fridges and kitchens could also be cleaner.

Central location
Central location. Ground floor rooms are reasonably quiet as the common areas are upstairs.

Brilliantly located. Great kitchen and laundry facilities. But in my room some of the bathroom fixtures could have been a lot better. Also for a private room I wasn't expecting two bunk beds.

The staff is friendly. Great location, right in the middle of the city and action for evening night out. Room is standard as showed in picture. not supper clean but acceptable. It’s a hostel so I can’t expect more. If you are backpacking it’s fine but if you are not then look for something that’s not hostel with drunk young people.

friendliest hostel in australia
This is a well designed well run happy place. I have given it a smiley for cleanliness because in general it was always well kept up. The one downside would be the women's shower on the third floor, but maybe the cleaning staff never found it empty to clean it.

The staff were terrific but the building and furniture have become old and very worn. Over used and not maintained. Wall paint peeling and shower only a dribble. Not a shower.
Good hot water in sink tap and good Airconditionimg, which was a relief.

Great, fun stay and at an excellent price :) Friendly staff and comfy rooms. I felt bad for the cleaners given the state of the bathrooms after Friday night.

There wasnt much i liked, except the bedroom was quiet, good storage lockers, and well away from the bar. I liked that there was an extra fridge on the girls floor which had space. Saved me from the bun fight in the kitchen. The price was good also.
Didnt like the bar, constant noise, lack of quiet places to relax, lounge around. Kitchen was like a sauna, no freezers, very limited fridge space. The plastic bowl provided with a deposit was way too small for my apetite.
The bar detracted from any good aspects of this hostel. There are so many places to party in Darwin. Even in the morning i couldnt escape the musak. One thing playing in the kitchen and something else by the pool. Both coming into your ears when youre waking up.
TOO MUCH NOISE!

It‘s cool that you can go swim in the pools or that you can watch Netflix for free.
I didn‘t liked the kitchen though, because it‘s always messed up.
