Travelled as a family of three. Infant included. Room booked was facing the Main Street so the were always closed.
Location:
Right outside XiMenDing which is a huge plus. About a 5-8 minute walk from Xiamen station and bus station.
Room:
Tiny with a weird musky smell. Room layout is odd as the bathroom doesn’t have a door and there is no way to change the water temperature. We spoke to the front desk about it but they said they couldn’t do anything to fix it, so the steam just vents straight into your room after a shower. The beds are hard so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The wifi drops randomly as well and has difficulty reconnecting. We had to call the front desk to help reset.
Breakfast:
Daily breakfast was good. The dishes rarely rotate and consists of the regular chicken, egg, salad, breads, soup, rice/noodles.
Price:
We paid about CAD170/night. Overpriced in my opinion for such a tiny space.
