The hotel is comfortable, but the front desk staff could benefit from customer service training. They weren’t very welcoming, made minimal eye contact, and responded robotically with directions like, “Breakfast to the right, elevator to the left, parking across the street.” Given the hotel’s quality and pricing, I would expect a friendlier and more attentive staff. The continental breakfast was also quite basic and could use some improvement.
The surroundings are pleasant, with plenty of dining options nearby; however, the hotel is located a bit far from D.C., about a 25-minute drive.
