The hotel is a completely renovated olive oil mill that has been converted to accommodate the needs of the modern traveler. Everything has been tastefully placed and organised with high attention to detail, always in perfect keeping with folklore and local architectural characteristics but also with respect to local customs.
Outside, majestic nature in a picturesque village that smells of burning wood, wet leaves and homemade food. Inside, a modern bathroom with a jacuzzi shower, comfy bed, wooden ceilings, beautiful windows overlooking acorn and walnut trees filled with chirping birds in an area surrounded by traditional houses with stone rooftops. In the morning, a really big (albeit not very innocent) breakfast served by welcoming people who are always there to tend to your every need, answer questions and give suggestions.
My only complaint relates to clear road and path signage; it is either non-existent or dreadful and can make one feel extremely hopeless and uncomfortable, especially after it gets dark.
There is nothing I can think of during that hotel stay I would've liked to be different. The people, the amazing landscapes that filled my camera with photos, the food, the coziness and the complete immersion in nature registered some truly wonderful memories.
Thank you 'Palio Elaiotrivio'!
