Nice design but poor service !
Nice hotel design . But most of the staff don’t speak English well. There are v few choice of food and the Japanese restaurant is not to par , the food is way overpriced . The quality is below average . I hate to say it but the truth is that the food is the worst I have ever tried in Japan . the staff there is not polite and at some point I found them rude . Eg we had dinner in a private room but the air conditioning was hot, without bothering the waitress , I tried to adjust the temperature by remote control . One waitress came in and rudely re set what I have set . She said something in Japanese with an angry face which I was perplexed to see her expression.
Even if she thinks that’s should be her job to do the temperature instead of mine , shouldn’t she at least asked me what I wanted ?
Another similar experience happened during breakfast time when I took the pepper from the buffet counter for my scamble egg and helped my kids with the it, but again , without asking me whether I still needed it, the same waitress came over and took the pepper bottle away rudely without saying a word ! that’s very very rude of her .
All in all, the staff in catering services are carrying black face all the time , making me feel very bad and our holidays experience is ruined !
The room is big and clean but some of the windows can let light in early in the morning like 6am that you will be waken up by the daylight . We have to ask the staff to block them off with some fabric.
