Clean and convenient pet friendly place.
Stopover on way from Spithern Spain to catch ferry next day from Santander. Very basic hotel, extremely tired decor, badly worn carpeting, dark public areas and our room was clearly a smoking room at one time and could have used a freshen up. Very noisy overlooking busy railway station. On the positive side it is dog friendly, clean, friendly staff, nice continental breakfast, cheap secure parking and very convenient for restaurants and bars. Looking for luxury, go elsewhere, looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep and rest up then the Besaya fits the bill.

O quarto estava limpo, mas nada agradável.Ficava no ultimo piso, apenas com uma janela de sótão, o aspecto geral do hotel era velho. Pequeno almoço sem variedade e com pouca qualidade. Não recomendo.

c'est un bon rapport qualité/prix. Seule la façade fait un peu peur à l'arrivée mais l'intérieur est propre et le personnel sympa. L'avantage c'est qu'il est en centre ville et que l'on peut se garer sur le parking de la petite gare (pas de bruit) juste en face (payant).

Older hotel, but well kept up, and a great value
We enjoyed our stay on the top floor with the unique windows and view of the train station. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was basic, but good, especially as it was included in the price. Good location close to Altamira Caves, Santander and Bilbao.

Lokatie tegenover trein station.. heel veel lawaai
Kamer 201schoon maar heel klein. Badkamer zeer klein en onhandig. Badkuip erg aan toe. Ontbijt te envoudig.. niet iedereen houd van zoet.. een plakje kaas/ham en wat fruit zou zeker wat meer tevredenheid verzorgen. De hoge tafels en stoelen zorgen ook niet voor comfort. Prijs/kwaliteit niet in evenwicht!!!!!!!!!!

Billig og helt OK for en natt
Hotellet er mest sannsynlig et familieforetak hvor eierne prøver å gjøre det fint. Det bærer preg av å ligge i en by utenfor turisløypa med høy arbeidsledighet. Rommet var rent, men generelt litt slitent. Høydepunktet var veldig god WiFi på rommet. Helt OK for en natt på vei til en annen by.

Nice little affordable hotel
Excellent value. Cant understand why it is only one star. Nice help yourself continental breakfast which stayed open late with no problems. Excellent location. Definitely would stay again.

OK but price on high side.
OK hotel but quite expensive compared with other places we stayed in N Spain, although a buffet breakfast was included. Rooms were generally clean although one of our rooms smelled smokey. Triple room had double + single so our sons had to share. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking outside hotel. Close to railway station and town centre.
