This was a great hotel to say in. There was plenty of parking when we went. The breakfast was good and dinning room has great views as well. Staff is friendly and always available to help. The town center is a short 50 meters away and the castle is 20 meteres away. Very comfortable and clean rooms, we would stay here again for sure when exploring the area.

Amazing hotel located on the hill with fantastic view to the lake. Room was comfortable and we liked cosmetics which are given in hotel. Breakfast was also good. Free parking area is not spacy

Nice place to stay!
Fantastic location and view! Arriving by car was a little confusing because the primary route was closed. Eventually was found it. The employee at check in was not helpful and only provided partial information. I think he was busy and a bit overwhelmed, because later in the evening his mood was much improved. Dinner was good with plenty of food. The breakfast was better, with excellent coffee.

Amazing Views
Simple accommodation, very clean - but the resin to come here is for the stunning views. Walking distance from bars & restaurants - the food in the hotel was also very good

Recently remodeled bathrooms and new beds were great. Wonderful views, and great location near the top of the town. Road construction blocked the route near the hotel, making finding the palace difficult. Google maps still had the standard route. Had to take a hard to find circuitous route. Should be finished soon. WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms on the lower floor. Nice place, beautiful town.

Fantastic location with fantastic views. Hotel is very basic (it is 2* so you get what you pay for) but great for a short stay to enjoy village.

The location of the hotel was perfect, and the best we saw. Located on the high point it was easy to walk down into town (~5 mins to the “main drag”), and it’s situated right at the trailhead for the hike to the Castillo that overlooks the town. The hotel itself does not have a view of the town, but rather the bright blue lake below. We didn’t order food or drinks, so can’t speak to that experience.

Simple but comfortable accomodation. Beautiful views across lake and hills from room. Nice town for an overnight visit. Wifi did not work for us signal too weak although a router was located right outside our room.

Very poor value for money, it must be for the view
Just ok at best for comfort.... bed old, cold room, wifi not working, even in the lobby.... if I paid half the price I would think I was robbed...

Beautiful place with wonderful views over the lake. The pictures don't do it justice! Very friendly staff, our en-suite room was large, clean and comfortable, with a spanking new bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and beautiful views. Easy to find just by staying on the road that goes right through the centre of town. The building seems to have been renovated so everything appeared new and clean. We were the only ones in the restaurant for dinner, which was very good. The evening staff person was very helpful even though his English was limited. Only complaint is the meager breakfast. Coffee and toast with jam (not even the advertised orange juice). This was our only option because we walked through the centre of town on a Monday morning and nothing was open.

Amazing View
There is nothing fancy about the hotel itself, but it is clean and had what we needed for one night. However for us it was a special place because of the location and the view is amazing. Zahara is one of the prettiest white washed villages we visited in Andalusia and Arco is on top of this village, blended with the rocks, on the side of the mountain. The view gets even better after a few minutes hike to the citadel on the top of the mountain – a 360 panorama; above the lake and valleys. You take the elevator up to go to the reception, which is not the usual. We had dinner at the hotel which was better than we expected and less expensive than other restaurants. We also had breakfast, but we only remember the view. They accommodated a late check-in, at 9 PM; in May 9 PM means still light outside. Getting to the hotel means driving up the hill on narrow streets, so it may be a good idea to get there before dark. The parking lot is great, because it is on the hotel’s roof top, therefore flat (if you had trouble with parallel parking on a narrow street, on a steep slope, in a mountain village, you’ll appreciate this parking lot).

Acceptable hotel in a stunning location
Although the hotel was clean it is looking tired with threadbare carpeting in the corridors and our bathroom was in need of refurbishment. We were disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed as it was a cold windy February night so had to find something to eat in the village which turned out to be almost impossible except for a tapas bar. The breakfast could not be described as "full" as per the hotel information but was adequate as continental one and good value at €3 each.
