Overall a great stay!
Loved this hotel. It’s a little dark but they’re going with the Speak Easy 20’s theme.
We had a corner room, it was big, comfortable and just what we needed after a long flight to Bangkok. The shower is wonderful , the deep bathtub was amazing after a long day, and the hair, body products were delicious lemongrass fragrance.
The only negatives were the tiny pool for such a large hotel, we were lucky we always got a sun lounger, but many did not and left the pool area frustrated.
The rooftop Speak Easy/ restaurant is tiny as well, it doesn’t look anything like the photos on their website. it’s filled with cigarette smokers…the female staff are rude up on the Speak Easy rooftop,
but, the male server and bartender, were delightful! The food was pretty good, smaller plates for the price, but then again, it’s a fancy hotel in Bangkok and that is expensive these days!
Overall we had a nice stay. Mr. A is a doll and most of the staff are very friendly. The nighttime desk staff, not so much … but the positives outweighed the negatives. I’d stay here again.
