Overall it was a good place to stay mostly on account of the location. It is a few steps from the bus stop - for all the out of town buses. This was great - no taxis or google maps needed on arrival. Also when I needed a break from sightseeing, I could return easily to the Hotel as it is right by the Old Town Gate.
The room was comfortable and I liked the classic mahogany furniture although I'm not a fan of carpet in hotels. The bathroom and shower was really spacious and clean.
The downside of my room (standard double) was it was right next to the stairwell and although it was a quiet Wednesday in February, some of the guests were a little noisy after midnight. Nothing horrific.
The breakfast was OK - a fairly typical meat and dairy centric spread. As I don't eat meat or dairy, I'd rather have the option not to pay for it with the room price.
