While the room facilities may not be luxurious, the stay is pleasant. It's conveniently located near the MRT station, and there's a convenience store right across from the hotel, so you don't have to worry about food when hungry. The hotel is a bit old and you can find some dirt on the stuff. However, the staff was very nice and professional. They answered all my request and executed on time. They not just helped us book a taxi to airport, they remembered we have a cake stored in the freezer and retrieved to us without asking. When they saw only half of people showed up at the front desk, they proactively called our friends upstairs to remind them. I will definitely give a 100 to the staff management!

Since this was my first trip to Taiwan, I chose this hotel as it had convenient transportation and was reasonably priced. 　 The staff is very cheerful and kind, and the equipment is a little old, but it's not a problem. I heard that some hotels in Taiwan don't allow you to flush toilet paper, but here you can. The only disappointing thing was that there was no bathtub. The thing I would most recommend about this hotel is its convenient transportation. First of all, this hotel is located a few minutes walk from Fuzhong Station, and there is a convenience store right in front of it. It takes about 15 minutes from Taipei Main Station to Fuzhong on the MRT Bannan Line. The first bus stop for Jiufen (No.965) is nearby, and the neighboring Banqiao Station and Banqiao Bus Station can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, so it's convenient for taking the bus (No.1962) to Taoyuan International Airport. There are many local food shops around this hotel and Fuzhong Station, and there is also a "Nanya night market" nearby, so you can have plenty of fun without having to go to other areas. However, it is a very prosperous city, so if the local food doesn't suit your tastes, there are plenty of other options. If you're looking for reasonably priced souvenirs, Carrefour (open 24 hours) is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Also, if you go to Banqiao, you will find department stores such as "Mega City"and "Far East",where you can buy more high-end goods.
