Beautiful property. Their complimentary breakfast was a feast. Staff were friendly. Short drive to Loch Ness. Only con is the WiFi in pretty much nonexistent in the rooms but glad they had two spacious seating areas by the lobby.

This is a stunning historic well preserved Charles Rennie MacIntosh designed lodge. The owners has done a wonderful job of restoring and maintaining the original house and the grounds are lovely. Very hikable too! The restaurant was suburb as well. Finally, the host, Thomas was so delightful. One of the best small inns I've stayed at in my days. Go for the historic house when you book your room. I did not see rooms in the auxiliary buildings, but the main house is stunning.

Importante mencionar que no hay elevador en la propiedad. Es un hotel que está en las afueras de Inverness y es muy silencioso. What an absolutely charming and amazing place. Everything was perfect. The hotel manager and all of the staff were so gracious, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This is a real gem. We actually tried to extend our stay even though we would have been unable to cancel our next nights accommodations at a different hotel and would have had to eat the cost of that other room. We truly did not want to leave but unfortunately they were all booked up. Would definitely return.
