If you're looking for a centrally located, affordable place to stay, this is your spot. If you're looking for a hotel with comfort, keep looking. Our first night, we stayed on the first floor and the AC was slow, but manageable via our own thermostat. Given the heat outside, this was important. The bed was super comfortable, though the pillows were not. The second night we stayed on the second floor. NO BUENO. again, if you're looking for a place to store your stuff for the night that's centrally located and close enough to the bus terminal and tourist experiences, it's a great spot. If you're looking for a great nights rest, look further. The pluses: right in the Zocalo; hotel front desk staff friendly; tourist experiences accessible; a quick ride to the bus terminal ($25 pesos). Cons: A/C not well functioning, and super slow on floor 2 (200s), beds on second floor not comfortable (unlike on first floor), no elevator, inconsistent WiFi.
