Do NOT stay at City Edge Apartments
This is the worst place I have every stayed. We only stayed an hour and got out, it was that bad. I got other accommodation and this was so dirty and unhealthy we could of got really sick. And don't forget the bugs that started crawling all over us. When we entered the air conditioner leaked and half of the lounge room floor was wet. The kitchen stunk and had something sprayed all over the floor. The bathroom has purple stains all over the floor and the toilet had excrement on it and over it, there was toothpaste splatter all over the taps and up the walls. The place was disgusting.

Not fancy but meets basic needs.
Unit was basic, reasonably clean except for blood stains on the mattress protector under the sheet, but being a crisp white sheet it was visable through it which was a little off putting. Shower was small but great water pressure and temperature. One thing that was very impressive was how surprisingly cool the unit remained with only one a/c in main bedroom and 38 degress outside. I think with it being on ground level and all concrete walls helped. Great close location to MCG. It wasnt fancy but for the very reasonable room rate it served our purpose well to have a bed for the night and facilities to prepare our own meals while down for the cricket.

To make this simpler I have prepared a pros and cons list. For reference we stayed in the second building location. Pros:-provided basic kitchen appliances/ full sized fridge -easy to get to -receptionist was helpful Cons: (buckle up) -appliances were dirty -cutlery/crockery were dirty -dirt on the walls -broken air con -broken dining chair -bathroom sink took a long time to drain -visably stained bedsheets -provided wifi was incredibly slow/barely working Just to name a few. All I can say is you pay what you get for. But even so I wouldn't stay again.

This property is in need of a deep clean, there were clean sheets on the bed and thats where it ended. There looked to be blood on the floor in the living room and every service had some kind of grime on it. The couch was like sitting on a concrete bench and wiifii code did not work. Cold, old, drafty apartment with dodgy heater/aircon. Shower was extremely tiny, no room to move. The couches were small and hard like park benches. The bed was ok though. The only reason anyone would stay here is for the really close proximity to MCG.
