Price is worth it
There was hair in my bathtub when check in. Food is not great. The place is a little secluded. So a car is definitely required. Nice place still.

No hospitality in the annex
Great for golfing. Bueatiful views. Typical Japanese hotel, everything works, no hassles. It’s a long way out of town in a stunning setting.
This hotel is arranged over three towers. Place was quiet when I stayed there. I was a bit put out because I was put in the annex building & had to drive up to the main building for everything (meals, front desk, Onsen, etc). Pretty sure that I was the only guest in the entire 14 storey building which ticked me off a bit.

This hotel is a destination resort. Rooms are quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards with even a seating area and large view window. Really need a car to get to it. Lots of activities available indoors and outdoors. Two quibbles. First, there really are no dining options except buffets. Nothing for those wishing to spend less and eat less so bring your own convenience store snacks. On the other hand the breakfast buffet was extensive and depleted bins quickly refilled. Second quibble, I could not get cell service because of its rural location in the mountains. Hotel offers Wi-fi which was sporadic, SKYPEing was not possible. A good destination for families and couples seeking a get away, not so much for business travelers. A great view if fog and rain stay away. As always, staff were helpful and friendly.
