I was on way to hotel to check in at 18:00 and was less than 2 minutes away when I received a call saying that they had no available rooms and I would be unable to stay. They did offer a room in an alternative hotel in the centre of the city, some 2 miles away but there was no free parking there and the only available parking would cost £8. They declined to provide free parking. As alternative hotel was in the wrong area for me, I declined their offer. Fortunately I found alternative accommodation nearby myself at short notice.
Annoyed that they did not honour my booking and amazed that they thought it appropriate to cancel with no notice. Will never consider another hotel in the Belvilla group again.
