I was traveling with my very senior parents and staff offered to relocate them to a ground floor room as I'd not thought to request it. Dining doesn't have a ton of options but what you get is exquisite and the service is friendly and attentive.

Great location with quaint charm
We booked this at the last minute and arrived just 15 minutes before the kitchen was to close. They were very helpful and made sure we got seated and fed on a cold rainy night. This hotel is very close to the shops in town, perfect for a book holiday. The staff was very helpful in locating and directing me to a place that could help me ship my books back home.

Nice greeting when we arrived, our room was alright comfortable but slightly shabby.Clean though.we had a cream tea in the afternoon which really wasn’t very good at all,the scone turned to dust after I cut into it,making it almost impossible to spread anything on it. We had a good nights sleep the bed was comfortable The breakfast was disappointing, couldn’t finish my sausage Throughout our stay there was a strange smell in the building.
