The hotel is located close to the river and the shopping area is across the bridge . Train station is also close, so very walkable to all the attractions , restaurants , public transportation. Our room was large and had a large terrace , facing a side street , so very quiet. Breskfast was very good , and the adjacent restaurant served authentic swiss dishes! It was a nice stay !

If you want to stay in a historic hotel this is it. I really enjoyed the history, architecture, and decor. It's in a great location. My only complaint is that the bed seemed pretty old and it was really hard to adjust the heat so I kept the windows open.

Nice historic hotel
I loved the hotel and the room, it had character and historic appeal. I was in the single room, I was worried it'd be small but to my surprised it was quite large, I had plenty of space for my luggage and didn't feel cramped at all, I was very happy with it. Bathroom was small, not an issue for me but might be for bigger humans. Staff at the reception desk were very nice, the breakfast lady - not so much. Location was good, very close to the river and bridges, a short walk from the station.
