East coast staycation during our holiday!
Our stay in the apartment was amazing value. The beds were very comfortable and the utilities were of excellent quality. The place felt very luxurious! The staff were very friendly and attentive serving up some delicious food and cocktails too!

This was my second stay at Atlantis. The room i was in was much nicer than my previous stay - i'm assuming they've done some rennovations, and they were preparing to close for more upkeep. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I am from Barbados and live here, so transportation isn't an issue for me, but i would recommend a rental car if you're staying at Atlantis. It's a beautiful quiet location, and there are one or two shops relatively nearby, but most amenities are within driving distance rather than walking. Lovely place - quiet, tranquil, beautiful surroundings.

After five years, we finally returned to the Atlantis Historic Inn. It is situated on the East Coast of Barbados in Bathsheba, just above the shores of the Atlantic. We have come to the Atlantis year after year to regenerate and enjoy the beautiful Historic Inn, nestled in the hillside just above the surf. It is a relatively small Inn and beautifully appointed, whether your room overlooks the water or the quieter garden rooms. It has a very charming outdoor dining area with the adjacent pool. We happen to be there on Mother’s Day Sunday and attended, their famous Bajan buffet giving us a chance to meet Bajans from all over the island. The food is delicious whether it’s an early morning breakfast watching the sunrise or a late evening dinner under the stars. The service is impeccable, warm and caring. We love the INN and everything about it. However, it is the people we meet who takes such good care of us that makes us come back time and time again. Antonio Millar, hotel manager couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff also is so very kind; just the kind of people who make the Inn so special and welcoming. It is a jewel.

We hike a lot. We were central to our hiking trails we enjoy. It’s nice and secluded and a good break from the south coast we stay.

I really liked the family atmosphere that the Atlantis offered. Beautiful scenery, comfortable and quiet. It seemed like it was going back in time with little technology. Lots of history offered. Very friendly staff.

We absolutely loved the Atlantis and its "old world colonial charm." The location on the East coast is stunning with spectacular views. If you want a modern hotel where everything is perfect - then this is not for you. But if you want to stay somewhere full of character and charm, watching the waves crashing in outside your bedroom window - then this is the perfect spot.

Quiet surf town. Can use sister hotel on west coast. Very nice staff. Need car or will have to ise bus/taxi to get around if you want to explore other parts of island. I had i ocean view room so slept wonderfully to the waves all night. East side is not for swimming.

Wonderful historic hotel, on a quiet part of the island. Still good bus links to Bridgetown and Speightstown though. Lovely attentive staff and a beautiful room. Wednesday nights at the local ‘De Garage’ pub are also brilliant.

The two bedroom cottage was an absolute delight to stay in. Well appointed in a rustic way, breezy, directly ocean front and very peaceful and quiet. The hotel’s restaurant is also fabulous and we can’t wait to return!

This is a really beautiful small hotel. The views from the restaurant are exceptional. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We had a garden room which was bright, clean and spacious. Sadly I think we had the room with the worst view over the garden section that housed the water and gas tanks. Other than that we were very, very happy with our stay here.

I stayed just for one night with my two children. Check in was quick and easy, staff were very pleasant and helpful (special shoutout to Ophia, she was wonderful) and our accommodations were beautiful. The east coast of Barbados is beautiful and quiet, and that's what i wanted, so it was perfect for me.
