Keep in mind this is an extended stay...
Hotel was very clean & comfortable, convenient to JMU and competitively priced. Understand, however, that being and 'extended stay' can mean your stay can be similar to apartment living. In this particular experience, we started hearing constant footsteps from the residents above us at 6am (I assume it was a busy child 😀). Then roughly at 9am, our neighbors began playing music loudly. Walls are thin. It wouldn't necessarily deter us from coming back (simply, for it's cleanliness, location & price) and the noise wasn't noted anywhere else on our floor. Just so happened to be *directly* above and next to us for this stay lol. Fortunately, we only needed a 1-night stay. Otherwise, check-in & out was a breeze.

Great Stay.
The room and stay overall was great. The only comment I would add is they say they offer breakfast. In the morning, when checked, there were only few dry items available and no real seating. It was more like a quick grab snack then breakfast. It's ok if breakfast is not offered, but it should say accordingly.

I made the reservation because my son had an early morning appointment to receive an infusion at the nearby Sentara Treatment Center. While on our way to check in, we received a call at 6:08pm that the treatment center would be closed and his appointment rescheduled. I called the hotel to cancel my reservation but was informed I was too late for a refund. Really? 8 minutes?

Very good - we would stay again!
Very good - friendly efficient staff, clean updated rooms, very comfortable linens, and specifically choose non carpeted hotels when I bring my 2 toy poodles along. Coffee was great, but dont expect a "hot breakfast". Its a very simple ...fruit bars, oatmeal, and oranges type breakfast.

Holiday travel
Overnight stay as part of a longer trip. Desk staff was very friendly & welcoming. Room was ok but of note: 3 Kleenex left in the box, no spare toilet paper, obvious sticky stain noted on floor beside bed - still sticky & dirty on the nightstand & phone, crumbs on other nightstand lamp. Shower water pressure was very weak. Surrounding area was good, convenient to highway & restaurants & downtown area.
