A great quiet place to chill
The hotel was wonderful: quiet, excellent breakfast, nice bar staff. If you wan to get away in old fashioned style and modern comfort - I recommend it

This hotel is in a quiet and calm location, far away from everything so be sure to have a car or at least a bike to get to the bus stop. There are some restaurants nearby, however. No beach at all, and the waterline was huge rocks, so no way to enter the water. The property is old and charming. The front desk workers were not very helpful, but made sure we had our Coronavirus negative tests. The food in the restaurant was tasty and breakfast was varied and plenty. The wellness center only had one person available for treatments, so book far ahead. We were lucky to have one slot available for a massage the week we were there. The hotel needs to get more wellness center staff. The price for the stay was reasonable, considering it was high season.

Our stay would be amazing if there was no air-conditioning and a coffee and tea making set missing in the room

The location, building and gardens. Some of the staff could have been more friendly and surprised the bar closed by 10 - a shrug of the shoulders was the response to our query.

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful place
Great place to stay for quiet and relaxation, with comfortable bed, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, in the beautiful Rugen Island. Good location for doing sightseeing by car or bicycle.

Most Beautiful setting
One of the most beautiful settings one can imagine. Close to the train station and you can rent bikes for the many, many biking trails and road to get around the island. The nearby harbor is majestic and even has a few good restaurants (if you don't want to eat at the hotel every night). Breakfast is amazing. Service good ( most front desk staff speak English). The swimming and soaking pools are delightful.... We didn't do all the spa stuff, but it looked amazing. Minor bug problem when you eat outside, but you barely notice it because the view is so spectacular.

Perfect early spring spa break
We loved this hotel as it gave us the perfect springboard to explore the Island of Rugen and more importantly relax. The spa facilities were great to unwind or escape the rain outside and my wife recommends the whole body massage. The buffet breakfast was sufficiently varied not to have the same meal twice during a five day stay. The quality of hotel was typified by the fine art in the restaurant and common areas, even the the corridors and room art was better than most hotel I've stayed in. The staff were very welcoming and had time to talk. Top tip - Ask for a room at the sea end of corridor for an excellent view of the sea, especially when sitting on the balcony/ veranda.

Relaxing get-away
A quiet atmosphere - away from town and with forest on one side and view of yacht harbour from breakfast table and in our case from balcony. (Great breakfast by the way) More busy resort towns can be reached easily by car or the closest on one day bike trips (17 km each way). Enjoyed indoor swimming pool as well as the special hot pools - generally great relaxing atmosphere - for us a great base for exploring Rugen.

We have been to Badehaus Goor before and got ok dinner, but this time, they have change it to a buffet, and well I can not rememeber I have gotten so bad food before, the salad was boring, and the boiled calf cheecks was so fatty. And the waiter was a bit rude.
We choose to eat out the other nights.
Else the stay was pleasant and good.
