Room is small, just like most other city hotels in Japan, but it’s comfortable. Standard APA quality at reasonable price.
Most of the problems to me are from outside the room.
1) Just like the APA I stayed before in Tokyo, the public SPA is far away from enjoyable. I went to the spa on day one and I found it’s quite crowded, and I don’t see any staffs around to help or monitor the site. There’s some people with tattoo, full body of red ulcer or skin sore using the spa but no staffs in there to prevent these from happen. And just like the other APA, the shower area is right beside the pool, and it’s quite disgusting when you found some shower water or soap might flying towards you while you enjoying the hot spring.
I try again few days later on weekdays, see if the situation improve. There’s slightly less people in there but then I found some hairs in the water (not one). I leave the pool immediately and have shower and back to the room.
2) Elevator service are not adequate. There’s 2055 rooms in this hotels and only 6 elevators servicing high and low level (total 12), so basically you need to wait for quite long whenever you go out in the morning or come back at night. The elevators should be split at 23/24 floor for high and low level, as the higher floor takes longer time to travel. That’s some bad arrangement made when design the building
3) When you open the room door and you already kind of “outdoor” the corridor is not indoor and it’s cold in winter and hot in summer.
