Good Concept failure on execution
This is a very interesting concept which I initially embraced and thought this would be an intuitive process. However, they failed miserably on something that should have been relatively seamless. The app never worked and my check-in was eventually 5:30pm. They had to revert to a physical card and the reception is only available between 3-5. I stepped out the following morning for an hour and on re-entry was locked out (before check-out). I spent another hour outside awaiting access to the lobby. On entry your only option is to use a phone that put me in touch with someone at another hotel. This person recommended that I wait four hours for the receptionist to arrive. After, explaining that my flight leaves in 3 hours this person had to come on a scooter and let me into the room.
