This hotel is in the worst neighborhood. It rents by the hour and I would have never stayed there if I would have know that, but it was too late to get another hotel.

2nd Place at 3rd Ave
The location is in a shopping district near 3rd Avenue in the Bronx so you are literally near everything from the trains to the corner stores. Checking in was easy and the staff left me alone and didn’t bother for the most part. My shower head didn’t work unfortunately, room service has to be asked for instead of just performed and no microwave in the rooms or anywhere Aside from those negatives the cleanliness impressed me and with a vending machine in the lobby it was not to bad of a stay. In the BX of all places. It gets a thumbs up
