Loved this hotel. It’s so pretty and staff are very nice. The only downside is when using Google map , it will tell you to get off one stop early. If you get off the next stop, they do have a phone booth there to call hotel, it’s 10yuan to make the call. I didn’t know, so I Walked 30 minutes uphill to get to the hotel. The walk was bad with my suitcase, but the views are good, so I guess it’s worth it in the end. Remember to order dinner and breakfast. Local restaurants close very early like 5 pm, there won’t be any food nearby. Mountain Views are spectacular, I even see 2 deers. Loved it! 10 star stay.

The onsen experience was fantastic. It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff services. We like everything about the hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the long walk uphill from the bus stop to the hotel. While the hotel offered shuttle pick up from the bus stop, this information was not made known to us. We wish we knew to call the hotel to pick us up. Dragging our large luggages up the hill for 30 minutes was quite a challenge.

I can’t express how accommodating and helpful the staff was here. I’m sure we were annoyingly needy Americans but they were so gracious and sweet helping us with all of our questions. Genuinely gorgeous place with even more lovely people.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the room large. We had a Japanese style room with western beds. There are no rooms with double or queen size beds so no choice other than twin beds. The property description says that there is a restaurant but there is not. We arrived around 9 pm with no dinner and the only option were packages of dried ramen noodles sold from the front desk. They will prepare a set Japanese dinner if you provide advance notice. Same for breakfast. Otherwise, no food or bar in the hotel. This hotel is far from town, half way up the mountain in a remote area. On the map, it appears to be nearer town and I wish we had researched this more carefully before staying there. If you do not have a car, then the best transportation option is the local bus. The hotel will take you to the bus stop and pick you up. The owner/manager and all of the staff are very helpful.

Pleasurable Japanese ryocan experience.
This ryocan hotel by the golf course offers every bit as expected of an experience complete with tatami floor, wood partitions, modern private bathroom, in house indoor/outdoor onsen facilities. Morning Japanese breakfast! Shuttle provided to a 5-min away bus stop at request from public phone booth across bus stop, also once a day shuttle to odawara train station. Did I say top notched front desk, English speaking too! Kudos.

It was perfect timing to relax and refresh in this quiet secluded resort just outside Hakone. Wonderful Onsen. Great dinner with lots of items to taste. Authentic Japanese resort. Rooms were huge with view out to golf course
