Anne, the inn keeper was an absolute delight. The breakfast options were quick, easy and delicious! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The inn’s character is unmatched. A very beautiful spot! Would highly recommend and hope to visit again! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

This was an exceptionally beautiful property that was extremely clean and well cared for by housekeeping. However, management left little to be desired. Upon entry, after inputting the key code to get in the main door, all the keys for the rooms were laid on the table. Another resident for the night had taken our key to our room leaving us in their room. This was fine, and the housekeeper Anne was very apologetic the next morning when we said we had one more night to stay and were in the wrong room, but it shows that the keys should not just be placed for everyone to possibly grab. The next day, not only did management reach out to use while we were out looking for the whereabouts of another resident who we had nothing to do with, upon our return home, because there was no innkeeper to greet us, every time we tried to enter the main building with our key another resident would lock the door before we could enter, possibly thinking we were intruders despite having our own key? Even when we had questions such as the time that breakfast ended (which is only bagels and cereal which differs from is described) and I texted, there was no reply. Anne is the life and soul of this place and definitely keeps it running, but the management is very poor. There should most definitely be an innkeeper, or at least a more secure way for everyone to access their keys. Like I said, a beautiful place, well cleaned and kept thanks to Anne, but 0 management to speak off, especially when needed.

Very Quaint
Property was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. It was nice to see a piece of Canadian history and be in the same house where Lucy Maude Montgomery spent so much time.

This was a lovely home and location to stay. There was a lovely living room and kitchen area to use. As we were unable to give our exact check in time no one was able to meet with us on arrival. While the home had a great feeling of privacy, there were some small issues with the room which could have been corrected. Breakfast was a simple help yourself to yoghurt, fruit, cereal, bread, juice, coffee and tea.

The property manager, Anne, was lovely. Very friendly. It was nice to have use of the kitchen. We used it to cook and to store food/drinks in the 'fridge. It was also nice to sit with other travelers at the table and chat. Our bed was comfortable and I loved that we could either have the window open or use the (quiet) heat pump to control temperature.

Needs some onsite staff to welcome guests and clean up recycling more often. The home has so much more potential

Rooms were a bit smelly and found hair on my pillow. It is a cozy old place but not quite a B&B (more like you can self serve bread, serials and yogurt) and the house keeping is somewhat lacking. Okay to stay for an experience but as an accomodation, dont feel like coming back.

We could not stay for the night that we had paid for due to circumstances beyond the owners control. They were wonderful to give us a refund. We would stay if we go back to the island.

Disappointing! No service.
What a disappointment. This lovely house and it's relationship to L.M. Montgomery offered such potential. However, the hosts have opted to neglect their guests and cut corners on promised services. We arrived to find keys left out on the hall table. There was no host on site when we arrived or at any time during our stay. The listing promises a full breakfast. A later email promised a self-serve breakfast with fresh fruit and baked goods. What we found was a couple loaves of cheap supermarket bread and a half dozen oranges left out the day before. Cream for the coffee was sour. The fridge was full of unidentified leftovers and half-full jars of jam. I found the butter eventually, but threw out the cream and a moldy tub of sour cream. I left the old ham and dried out cheese in the fridge. Upon complaint, a bag of no-name bagels and some inedible muffins arrived the next day though no fresh creamer or fruit arrived. I made coffee for all the guests as no one was sure what they were allowed to do. The only communication we had with the host during our stay was an email to inform us there would be a realtor by to show the house to a prospective buyer (it was this email I replied to to tell them the cream was sour and this was not the breakfast promised). I sincerely hope they sell before they damage the Inn's reputation beyond recovery. If you want to book here, confirm that it is under new management first.

Quaint property. Yes, an old house, but 6 rooms sharing 1 bathroom, that has a door that wouldn't close properly. Hard to close the room door as well. Main entry door lockbox doesn't work, so even when they give you the code, it doesn't matter. Someone inside has to let you in. Assuming someone arrived before you did because there is no one on the property to help you out. Completely self-service!!

It was a last minute booking but successful. We booked a room with the private washroom. The room was not too big but very convenient and fully equipped with all necessary things including Air conditioner. It is an old house named Montgomery but I am not sure if Lucy Maud Montgomery ever lived there but the rooms' name reflect her novels' titles. The atmosphere of the house is saturated with that period of time, the living room is furnished in the style of the beginning of 20th century with books everywhere. You have the feeling that someone has just left the room for a minute and you feel awkward to step in and sit for a coach. The big dining room and the kitchen is fit for guests who can eat free breakfast and enjoy conversations at the big table.

This property advertised breakfast but this was not the case. It would not even be considered a continental breakfast as there was minimal effort put into its presentation. We were advised that they have had multiple complaints but have not addressed which is disappointing. Room was fine but grounds do not reflect a carrying attitude. Shrubs need trimming and back deck was unusable due to lack of upkeep and clean up. To sit on front deck we had to clean away webs etc. With some care and attention it could again be a place one might recommend but not so presently.
