The unfortunate hotel
Check in was not the best. No staff available. Phone to ring for service but went to message bank. Confusion over where to park car. Lift out of order. Restaurant closed for renovations. Most television currently unavailable. Kettle and tea bags available plus used coffee sachets containing no coffee. Some light bulbs not working. Toilet had brown ring under rim as if not cleaned properly for some time. Shower over bath felt unsafe climbing in and out of as there was nothing available for support.
Apart from that the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and a great view of the river. Unfortunately was the word used several times by reception. Some people management and housekeeping skills would enhance this hotel.
