We got 2 hotel rooms for a weekend stay. We showed up to check in around 11 pm. The male at the counter (older with a limp) was very rude making several disrespectful comments like "Can you be quiet" when I told him I paid online. He also said "Can you stop talking? You're making no sense." when he asked me if I had a question and I went to answer he cut me off before I got through my question.
The smells were awful in both rooms and there was no air moving. As we looked through our rooms, one of the rooms had a slash in the curtains, coffee spilled all over one of the bed sheets, black makeup on several of the pillows, the carpet was coming up, and there was coffee spilled on the nightstand dried up. I went downstairs to speak with the front desk and he again was very rude. I tried to tell him what was going on in that room and he cut me off saying "Don't yell at me. I'm just a night worker. I am not a cleaning lady." He gave us another room and it was in better shape.
We asked for extra pillows, towels, and blankets since we had a pullout sofa bed. The male at the front desk told my husband and me (at different times) they didn't have any extras to give. I questioned it and he got rude, again. We had two rooms that slept 6 each and were only given 2 towels in each room. There were no pillows or blankets for the sofa bed in the rooms.
Breakfast was good and our kids enjoyed the variety. The rooms were quiet and we didn't hear anything from the halls or our neighbors.
