Wonderful hosts
This was our second stay and reminded us why we loved it the first time. The house is comfortable, the room spacious and the decor tasteful. We slept well on a comfortable bed and all the usuals in terms of tea and coffee were there along with a nice sized fridge if you wanted to put the champagne on ice. Newcastle Emlyn is a lovely little town. The real key to why this is such a great place to stay are the wonderful hosts. Tony and Chris can’t do enough for you and offer a great welcome. This time we stayed in the middle of a red warning storm and our hosts ensured we could stay over until it was safe to leave. This is definitely one of the best places we have stayed and highly recommended.

Lovely property with super comfy bed
A lovely stay in a lovely large room. The bed was massive too with plenty of pillows and the duvet so warm I did not want to get out of bed. The owners were lovely and welcoming and we met their dogs too. Seperate bathroom with large shower just across the landing. The only complaint was while the shower was lovely my partner would have preferred a screen on it to contain the water. Small carpark but plenty of parking along the road too

Perfect
A beautiful house owned and run by beautiful people. Whats not like about this beautiful home. I stayed here over night on my regular work trip. First of many I hope. Tony and Chris are such a lovely, friendly couple. The house is a labour of love as Tony said, and anyone staying here should feel humbled and privileged for Tony and Chris to welcome you into their home. The pictures do not do the house justice although gives you a very good idea of what to expect. Seeing the house in person and feeling the history, warmth and love they have and are putting into it leaves you feeling in ore and I’m also quite jealous of what they have achieved. The bed, bedding, decor, tea & coffee making facilities all were better than some high end hotels I have stayed in over the years. One word to sum up my stay… Perfect

Great hosts who were very friendly and informative. stayed 1 night in this beautiful old building full of character. Bedroom lovely bed very comfy with a beautiful shared bathroom ..luckily we were the only guests so had it to ourselves. Would have preferred a lock on our bedroom door especially if the other rooms had been full.

Very comfortable overnight stay in this lovely old house. The hosts Tony and Chris were very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. The village of Newcastle Emlyn has some fascinating shops and the Bunch of Grapes pub serves good food. There are plenty other eating places too.

A beautiful and historical Welsh house set in fabulous and friendly New Castle Emlyn has a massive welcome. Its hosts Tony and Chris offer their home with pride and aplomb. The Green and Blue rooms in which we stayed are sumptuous and gorgeous. The landscaped gardens are a work in progress and we can’t wait to see them next time. Ardderchog!

Fab find
What a fab find. Stayed in the grand room - what a stunning room and divine bathroom. The communal spaces are also stunning. Lots of amenities, perfect breakfast hamper and the comfiest night sleep I’ve had in an age. To top it off - super friendly and attentive hosts. Tony was so welcoming and great communication from the point of booking. If you’re looking for a stylish place to stay where you’ll feel truly welcome … this is it. Looking forward to next time :)
