Old Town Otranto!
Amazing stay in old town Otranto. You will park outside about 400 meters away, but it’s an easy walk to the hotel from there. Incredible view from the terrace on the roof, and clean comfortable rooms with extra pillows, blankets, and plenty of closet space. A very nice breakfast is offered with both a buffet and off of the menu items. Coffee was plentiful and we were close to nice views of the sea from our balcony. Loved our visit here!

Perfect Staff, Location and Facility
This is an awesome hotel with even more awesome staff. Location is perfect in the historic center of Otranto. Staff, from my first telephone call asking where to park, to the friendly and kind staff on the rooftop lounge and breakfast area were fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Palazzo Papaleo. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they helped with suggestions and bookings in the area. We parked at a nearby paid lot outside of the ZTL, and it was a quick walk with our carry-on sized suitcases. We wish we stayed longer, and would definitely return!

The hotel is very conveniently placed within the old town, making it very easy to pop down to the sea and go back to the room and shower and then pop out again for food et cetera. The hotel itself is nice, not super lux but nice, and clean, there were things that niggled like the layout of the room and the air con, but the thing that raised this hotel up above others that I’ve stayed in and took it from a forgettable experience to one I won’t forget in a hurry, is the staff. What amazing people!. Couldn’t do enough and with a smile! I thought Patrizia was the manager (she isn’t but she should be!) her customer service, attention to detail, attentiveness and concern for our wellbeing and enjoyment was just…wow. Special mention also to Elena and the boys at breakfast. If I come back to Otranto I will definitely stay here again because of them Thank you everyone

This hotel is a self-styled 5 star, not quite what you'd expect, but worth every one of those stars. The location cannot be beaten, right in the heart of the old town, within touching distance of the Cathedral (literally), the rooms are very comfortable and we had a balcony and large terrace (not that we ever had time to use them). What makes this place even more special though is the fantastic staff, every one of them pleasany and welcoming. The communication with Patrizia before arriving was first class. Otranto is a wonderful place, and I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough to fellow travellers.
