I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton Grand Roatan to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel went above and beyond to make the occasion special by surprising us with a complimentary cake and bottle of wine, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. Every interaction, whether with the front desk, concierge, or restaurant teams, showcased their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for their guests. It’s clear they are dedicated to creating a memorable experience for everyone. The hotel itself is stunning, nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful location with a pristine beach and lush surroundings. One of the major advantages of this property is its distance from the cruise ship crowds, allowing for a serene and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape. While the experience was nearly perfect, I did find one minor drawback: the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to the West End is only available after 6 PM. This limitation can be a bit inconvenient for those who want to explore the vibrant area during the day (and not use the water taxi). Expanding shuttle service hours would certainly enhance the overall experience. Despite this small critique, my stay at the Kimpton Grand Roatan was amazing. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway.

Stay was very good. Beautiful beach you can swim and snorkel. I am worry due I was charged usd 1000 for deposit at check in. But when check out peiple at front desk did not refund inmediatedly. They say they will write when refund is done. I wrote an email and have not receive answer. It is important to refund deposit. They charge your card with your consume additional to the deposit.

The grounds were amazing. We lost power for a few hours a few of the days we were there but even that wasn’t a problem. You live in a bubble of euphoria while in the island and this resort helped you clear your mind. The food was great the staff was excellent and I truly recommend anyone going to stay here.

Everything was TOP notch! You do end up paying the US prices for everything at the resort but the quality of service, attention to details and the quality of food and drinks is superb! We walked 10-15 minutes along the shore and found much cheaper dining options. Each of these individuals was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit as enjoyable as possible. Whether it was offering insightful local recommendations, addressing any concerns immediately, or just greeting us with a smile, their efforts did not go unnoticed. Their dedication made us feel like we were the most important guests at the hotel. The accommodations were fantastic, but it was the exceptional service from this remarkable team that truly made our stay special. Beautiful resort right on the beach. Expensive food choices on location but plenty of options down the beach. Easy to get to the West end by resort shuttle or water taxi. We will definitely return to Roatan and stay at the Kimpton Grand again.
