Free parking, hardly get to without driving or taxi. The attached Croatia restaurant is serving good food. Staffs are nice. Just the facilitates are a bit dated. I still recommend it for a budget stay over.

Pleasant hotel, made to feel welcome.
The room was spacious, clean and nice. Shops were about 15 min walk but there was nothing else interesting in the area. The connection into Hamburg was reasonable and the staff at the reception were very helpful.

Dusty, noisy, smelly and no privacy hotel stay
The hotel is dusty, noisy and has no privacy. The room is very dusty and the toilet bowl is not so clean. There are many foreign people living in level 1 at the corner of the hotel permanently and they talk very loudly in the evening and in the morning which makes it noisy. Also, there was constant sound from the howling of the wind which makes it noisy too. At day 2 of our stay at 8.30 am, a housekeeper walked straight into our hotel room while my husband was still sleeping unclothed. I saw the housekeeper and got a rude shock and had to shout hey in order to stop her from walking into us. She didn't even bother to knock on our door at all. This happened because there is no door lock at all. We felt totally unsafe and lacked privacy. The hotel also smells real bad because people smoke at the lobby outside the hotel and the smell get to everywhere including our bathroom. We warn everyone against staying in this unpleasant hotel.

Wonderful stay and great value!
This is a wonderful hotel just outside of Hamburg. If you have a friend who knows how to get around on the buses and trains you can get to Hamburg easily. Just down the road from the hotel there are two grocery stores so you can eat for reasonable prices. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a framer's market also. It is very fun. Breakfast was eggs, cereal, juice, meat, cheese, bread etc. The wi-fi was a little weak, but other than that everything was super!

Basic but nice
Hotel itself is part of a small sport complex . It is basic but functional. Full free Wi Fi in room and is in a nice residentail location. Town approx 1.5 Kms walk so no issue. Breakfast included in room price and was good. Please note the hotel has a resturant attached to it alsthough it is independent and doesnt take any form of cards for payment. so make sure you have cash otherwise is a walk to town. Beers etc can but purchased from the vending machines in the recepetion but where out of order when I stayed.

Worth going to
It took awile to take number 17 bus to get from Hamburg, but the rustic setting was well worth any effort. The breakfast was included, and it was delicious. The restaurant next door served a superb fish dinner for a great price. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice reception at the desk, appreciate being able to communicate in English. Hotel is obviously a little old, but kept in decent shape. Rooms (had a double bed, on third floor) are simple but quite ok. Breakfast room is a time journey to the 90’s, but the breakfast itself is basic but quite nice. Coffee machine was off, but the thermos coffee served was good. Also appreciate the bake-off bread. Beds a little too firm for my liking, but ok for a night or two.
