It's a good hotel. It offers a range of rooms, and the modernised ones merit the higher price. This stay was in an older single room, but it was OK. More spacious in fact than the usual single room; some hotels would have crammed a double in there. Hot water was always available from a cistern within the bathroom. The overhead heating worked and was needed as the room faced north and had a louvre window in the bathroom. Fridge but no kettle. The room had a view of a courtyard with flats close opposite. The reception staff were excellent and spoke English. No English channels on the TV but I didn't visit to watch TV. The location is a mixture of business, residential and shopping areas. However, it did include plenty of cafes and restaurants. It is also close to the principal north-south bus route on Vias Liberta/Roma and the airport bus stop at Politeama. Breakfast was a buffet, more sweet than savoury, in the Italian manner. All in all I would consider staying there again.
