Our stay was good with stunning view of KLCC and other buidings especially at night with the lighting. However the staff mainly illa, front desk staff and Rusli, F&B Manager were rude.
Ilia was dismissive and unhelpful. Despite my efforts to remain polite, her condescending tone and lack of assistance made me feel unwelcome. This kind of interaction is not what I expected from a hotel of your caliber. She was charging for bringing in my 6 year old child to breakfast. She was telling me that the hotel considers that my 6 year old child is an adult. What am I supposed to do? Leave her in the room alone. She was very disrespectful.
I also had an encounter with Mr. Rusli, the Food & Beverage Manager. When I asked him a simple question about the chargers of the hotel, he was incapable of answering it to me. His dismissive attitude made me feel uncomfortable and undervalued as a guest. Calling me “Oi come here”. He treated me as if I was his dog. How was he promoted to a manager without any basic character.
did not meet my expectations of respectful and courteous service. As a result, my overall experience at the hotel was negatively affected, and I am hesitant to stay at Face Style Kuala Lumpur again in the future.
Pls try to enhance training for all staff members on customer service and respectful communication.
