Disappointing
A nice hotel, without any WOW factor in terms of great service or food. The advertised All day dining restaurant has been closed and only open for breakfast. We were directed to the down stairs bar to have a meal. A totally inappropriate space other than being a bar and a place for people to meet. The staff offered no apology for the false advertising and basically told us to find somewhere else. A disappointing lack of respect.

One night stay
Only had a night as I came down to have a night out with my daughter who lives in Melbourne. The room was comfortable, clean, good shower, loved the beautiful big soft towel's. Not a lot of space to put clothes but as we were there only the night did not matter, not sure if you were there for a few nights would have to live out of your suitcase. We did use the pool which was nice, the spa needs a railing very difficult to get in or out off unless you had help. While there a young boy hopped in missed the step and fell into the spa luckily did not crack his head. Breakfast was good and the valet parking was a must as nowhere to park the car in this area. Overall would stay at this Hotel again, friendly staff at the reception and friendly people for the valet parking, did eat in the restaurant food was very nice and reasonably priced. Unfortunately did had to retrieve water from the bar and had asked for extra butter that we had to ask for twice, before after a period of time finally appeared this could have been better.

Awesome break in the City of Melbourne
We had a great stay in the Dorsett and made use of pool and sauna and gym with bikes step machines and running machines and weights. Restaurants were also good with friendly service inside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Stylish hotel and good value
Very stylish hotel next door to the Ritz Carlton. Lots of restaurants in local area - mainly Korean. Convenient for city centre. Room (luxury Diva King) was comfortable and attractive BUT, no bottled water provided and not a single drawer provided - Hanging space and shelf more like a budget hotel style. That aside very comfortable and very good service throughout.
