it's a scam !!!
Let me share a complete story that explains why booking at this hotel might not be the best idea
After enduring a lengthy six-hour journey—three hours on a plane and another three at the airport—the night before New Year's, we finally arrived at Maria Tower at midnight. Despite having reserved our stay through Expedia two days prior with a confirmed booking, our excitement turned into frustration. We waited for someone to open the doors for about half an hour, and when it finally happened, we were hit with the disappointing news that everything was fully booked.
Attempting to explain our reservation and payment, the on-site staff member insisted there was nothing they could do. Faced with no other available hotels and feeling thoroughly exhausted, angry, and disappointed, we reluctantly embarked on a five-hour drive to reach our destination—my parents' house. Frustrated, we called the number appeared in Expedia ,where a person claiming to be an ex-employee said that he doesn’t work their anymore and that we need to call someone else!!
Finding a number in Google , a lady acknowledged the problem and assured us of a refund, promising to call back. However, after a day of unsuccessful attempts to reach her, the hotel manager contacted us. He apologized and explained that they hadn't received our reservation due to suspicions that the ex-employee misappropriated the funds. The owner of Maria Tower called later that night, stating they would not refund our money.
